Our neighbor’s cat not only ate, but rolled around in, the purple catmint I planted in our garden. By the end of the summer, it was all completely flattened.

I grow it in several places in my garden… all my pets like the stuff, one of my dogs is crazy for it, fresh or dried.

Fascinating! I always feel a little bit like a drug pusher when I give my cats catnip. (They both prefer to eat it and be mellow rather than sniff it and get crazy.)
