Very nice. I recently posted my first video using a Flip camcorder, inspired by Beth’s first video post not long before. The medium and the ease of sharing it has the potential to add new life to blogging I think. Also requires new brain cells to be used for me, like how to shoot the video with interesting content, have some sort of purpose (ie. plot), how to end it gracefully rather than just turning the camera off and leaving the viewer hanging, how to speak clearly and meaningfully, etc. In other words, I gotta learn how to make a movie. Move over Spielberg!

I've heard the PodPress plugin is quite good. I haven't felt a need for it because I upload videos (also shot with the video setting on a still camera) to Vimeo, which like all such hosts provides embed code. They allow a maximum of 500MB per week, which is more than adequate for my needs, and I like the convenience of letting somebody else resize my videos for the web. But if you know your way around video resizing and conversion software and have a good place to store the files, obviously you don't need an external host. For audio at Via Neg I use the plugin from 1pixelout, but PodPress will take care of that, too (and I believe incorporates 1pixelout's code; the Flash players are identical).
