"If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don't have to be pushed. The vision pulls you." ~ Steven Jobs

What pulls you this morning? What vision draws you out into the world, into a Saturday waiting to be filled?

Wake up, walk out your door, and wonder.

Ah, my weekend is not my own. My daughter and son-in-law are in town for his sister's wedding, so our weekend is already prescribed with parties and meals and ceremonies and responsbilities. I rose early today to get some uninterrupted time to write, but the sleepers are stirring and my solitude is about to end. It will be nice to see family and friends, especially for such a happy occasion.

Amazing photo and inspiring thoughts, Fred. Thanks!!

I am so glad I chanced upon your blog. Your photography is excellent, but the subject matter is absolutely exquisite! I've read and read and read. You have been bookmarked, and I intend to enjoy your posts for a long time to come. There's a peace about this place that I want to come back to.

I have online friends that I want to share this "find" with, so ....

I’d like to invite you to join our new, family friendly BLOG VILLAGE TopList. Please, please consider joining.

You can find out more about it at http://blogvillage.dirtybutter.com .

As a long time visitor on a daily basis it's easy to take this site and your work for granted. Just wanna say thanks for all you've done in sharing your thoughts and your world.
And I started my day early doing the usual thing, taking pics of dirt, trees, and grass in the mountains.

Today was not to be decided on a whim. I have done wedding flowers and delivered them! Later I will grill London Broil for dinner with out of town guests, but for now, it is catching up with daily reads (of which you are one, you know).

I'm reading this on Saturday night, but I really appreciate your Steve Jobs quote (one of my heroes, being a staunch Mac person). My day was incredible; I wrote about it at Sacred Ordinary. I just kind of let it flow--didn't bolt to garage sales or some of my usual Sat. behavior. Gardened, wrote a lot, thought a lot, grocery shopped, cooked my favorite pasta, noodled around on the Internet. And you?
