TwoFer

Okay, maybe I'll go ahead since MyPublisher has offered two for the price of one.

A thoughtful reader sent me the link to MyPublisher a while back and I downloaded the free book making software. I felt with this it wouldn't be that hard to put together a little book of images-plus-text that might give me a better idea of the look and feel of a larger, more polished project of this kind.

I now have a little book with 21 images, each accompanied by a short passage from Fragments prose over the years. Today, without anguishing over the thing being perfect (though I do need to spellcheck and such one more time) I'll place my order for the softcover book--Blue Ridge Seasons--for about $10, get two, keep one, give the other away and see if this inspires me to take the next step.

If you're anguishing over the money to put out for a nice coffee table style hardcover, keep in mind that you have at least one friend willing to invest (cough cough) some money to get them printed in exchange for some of the revenue on the sales side. Put enough of us together and you've got your coffee table book, which - with all due respect to the authors of the world - in my mind offers much much more profit margin in lower volumes.

Sign me up, Bro!

Yeah!! My Publisher's two for one sale! We used it for our Christmas presents this year. My husband made softcover books (for $10) of fabulous photos of our 4 month Alaska trip, and we used them for all the gifting. I am so glad you have tried this Fred! The concept sounds just right, too. I wish My Publisher was set up so you could offer copies of your book for sale right from the site, but my husband doesn't think they have that capability. Boy, I wish I could see your book, so I hope you find some way to make it available for sale.
