When A Good Dog Goes Bad

We figure it was something (dead) he ate. May have been recreational carrion. Who knows. Might have been delayed effects from the squirreloid substance he popped a few days ago. We're hoping it isn't addicting, and that his face doesn't get stuck like that.
Tsuga allowed me to post this image as a warning of what can happen when a dog eats anything that makes a buzzard gag.
I've also had to agree that in the coming week, I will put up TWO pictures that portray the dog in a nobler light.

That's wild. Save that one to show the girlfriend some day and embarrass the heck out of him.

Recreational carrion!
Now you have gone too far!
I wish you and Tsuga a safe return from your altered states in the near future.
It looks like the pup was trying the water cure when the transformation started. Morphing can be so disfiguring. You will have to Photoshop him back to a more presentable appearance or you will have rumors flying about the Goose Creek Monster.

I'm so glad my Jenny is a city dog that stays inside most of the time or confined to a fenced in yard. It's bad enough to know that she will eat Rabbit droppings. I am guessing now, but I'd say you probably don't allow very many Tsuga kisses and I would hate to do without mine from Jenny. It's almost impossible to get a dog to use a toothbrush,
mouthwash or breathmints.

OY! i make the same face whenever i eat lima beans. seems your tsuga has a great sense of humor and a purposeful personality. we have a white and liver spotted llewellin english setter. intelligent and strong willed. but in the end, she usually lets us win. as a pup, until she lost her hunting instincts, she'd amuse us by sustaining the "setting" position for ridiculously long periods of time. she'd patiently hide behind trees for the longest time, before exacuting a playful attack on a squirrel. but i'd say her best attribute is, that in her 11 years, she's never once growled. a 3 year old could take a rawhide chew-treat away from her and she'd not object. and she's never complained about not being allowed on people furniture. in return for her compliance, we built her her own comfy elevated bed in front of a window...from which she could watch "live" setter-vision. don't you just love dog kisses and smiles?

I've printed this out and stuck it up on our fridge. My son and I laugh at poor Tsuga every time we pass now... (sorry, dear hound - the rest of your beautiful pictures more than make up for this one, but nevertheless a picture IS worth a thousand words) :)

Hilarious!!!!! I'm loving the pictures of your pup. (I have a rescued racing greyhound and post pictures of him from time to time as well...haven't totally humiliated him yet, though!)
