January Moon

What you can't tell from this image is that it was 4 degrees while my bare hands attempted to steady the lens against a front porch column. Talk about your grab shots...

OK First, I see we're going to get into another moon war. You weren't the only idiot standing out in the cold taking moon pix. You want war. You got war. I'll see your moon and raise you a moon.
Do you want to call or fold?
Oh, by the way, nice moon shot.

Heh. I can tell, because I took that moon too! We should have done a group howl.

Is this a full moon rising or a full moon setting? I saw the full moon setting, though not through the bare boughs of a tree, and paused to appreciate the sight. Wonderful shot. (Doug's shots aren't bad, either--LOL. I hadn't visited his site, before. The "Moon Wars" was just the required impetous.)

I love your photography. Their beauty is their naturalness. So, how much could I pay you to refrain from applying Photoshoppy filters/effects to your pictures? To me, it's as garish as putting rouge and lipstick on a beautiful child.

Lovely--it almost looks like a batik.

Looks like it was worth it standing in the cold - this is a nice shot.
