The Jax

image copyright Fred First
It officially opened last September. Already, much of the happenings in Floyd County have shifted to the Jacksonville Center--the "cultural incubator" where classes, workshops, art shows and other community events take place, in addition to the offices, shops and studios it houses. The old dairy barn is settling nicely into its second life. (Web page developed by Doug Thompson, whose photography studio is located on the ground floor.)

Whoa, that is marvelous! Seeing that image has made my day!
What is that person-like light shape? I can't figure out what it is.
