AT THIS TIME...STORM TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS ENDING BY NOON FRIDAY ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 4 TO 8 INCHES IN THE NORTHWEST PIEDMONT AND FOOTHILLS OF NORTH CAROLINA...FROM 3 TO 6 INCHES ACROSS SOUTHSIDE VIRGINIA AND EASTERN SECTIONS OF THE NEW RIVER VALLEY...EXCEPT 6 TO 10 INCHES IN FLOYD COUNTY

A storm kicked the stuffing out of the Bay Area today...nuttin' compared to what you have to deal with...but danged nasty for California...flattened all the Daffys it did.
