DO NOT CALL
What took me so long? We are now officially registered and soon will be able to sit completely through dinner without unsolicited marketing callers. Buh-Bye.

Fred, Fred, Fred...
Somebody that has been around as long as you ;) should know better than to trust something like this, especially when it is the product of our Federal government. If you read the fine print you'll see that just about everybody that calls regularly (like the phone companies) are exempt from the new regulations. I too signed up, but I don't expect it to make a noticable difference. We just don't answer the phone. I figure if its important they will leave a message or call back.

I just interrupt my caller and say, "Hey, we're in the middle of dinner. Could you call back at a better time?" They never do.

I like an optimist....but i have to agree with Chris.
Get yourself one of those small canned-air horns, it's very satisfying it is. Thinned the herd right out it did.
Now if I could just do something about channeling Yoda.

Kansas has had a no-call law in effect since late last year. The majority of our annoying calls are wrong numbers. (About 10 years ago a business was assigned a phone number that differs by 1 digit from the one assigned us in 1968. As a result, we screen all calls.) Excluding those, we still get annoying calls; but, there has been a definite, welcomed decrease.
