Vox Populi

Well, populus, I reckon, since it was only one reader's whose eyes were having trouble resolved the 11 point font previously featured here. This any better, Lisa? Thanks for the consumer tip. And I'm sure others of you, over and beyond the difficulty reading imposed by the garbled mind of the author, may have squinted to see... much less understand... the stuff on Fragments past. I get fewer entries on the front page with 12 point, but some may consider that an added benefit.

Now. Would all those objecting to the new larger font size get in line at the complaint window. It will be opening on June 31.

No complaints from these quarters. The content made squinting acceptable. These old eyes appreciate the larger font. Thank you. (But, if there is a groudswell and you find that you must go back to 11 or even 10, know that at least one of us will hang in there with you.)

Hope I'm not the only Lisa as I don't recall complaining. Doesn't mean I didn't. My mind is like teflon these days. At any rate, if you want to fit in more text..go way smaller and I'll get a magnifying glass. It's a worthy cause!

BTW..stumbled across this quote last night and thought of you and of "about place". I'm sure it isn't new to you but here goes:

"The curious world we inhabit is more wonderful than convenient; more beautiful than useful; it is more to be admired and enjoyed than used."

Of course from the illustrious Henry David Thoreau.

Thank you, Fred for being so kind to my middle-aged eyes, and so responsive to a single voice. I'm looking forward to spending more time here, eyes less weary, hanging out by the Creek and pondering place.

Still teeny tiny on the Macintosh. I have to zoom the text in order to read it comfortably.

It's much easier on my eyes, too. Now, do you do color requests? ;)
