Shrubbery Joke

Apologies to Dustin Godsey who submitted a slightly different version of this little story in the Reader's Digest "Best Medicine" Dec. 2002...

Two bowl weevils grew up in Texas. One, by virtue of a terrible mistake, ended up in Washington DC and became a famous politician. The other stayed in the cotton field and never amounted to anything. He became known as the lesser of two weevils.

(Actually I think the second weevil ended up living in an orange grove.)
